The bureau collected masses of data on 800 different jobs to make the list.

Looking at the list, people can easily recognize positions, which require a medical degree, are paid the most while chief executives ranks  only the ninth position with $173,350 per year and the last is lawyers, who earn $129,440.

The BLS also suggests that the jobs paid the most, of course, are the hardest to reach and ten largest occupations make up for more than 20% of the nation’s 127 million jobs.

Finding a job as a waiter or fast-food worker, on the contrary, is much easier because this field accounts for nearly 5 million positions. However, the job is among the US’s worst paid positions with less than $10 an hour.
